Network Security Software Engineer
Are you an experienced network security software engineer interested in working
with leading edge development technologies in the network security arena? Does
the thought of being involved in the creation of an industry leading network
security application using "bleeding edge" technologies appeal to
you? Do you prefer working in an exciting work environment with a small team of
self-directed, talented individuals where you have the opportunity to provide
your input and ideas in the development process? If so, this position will be
of interest to you.
Our client is looking for highly talented and experienced network security
software engineers to join their rapidly growing development team in
Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada.

THE OPPORTUNITY
This is an excellent opportunity to work for an industry leader in network
security software with a team of highly talented network security software
engineers using "bleeding edge" technologies. You will be:
- Building event feeds (security/networking) into the product
- Building interfaces to block type devices (firewalls/routers)
- Building application profiles/signatures
- Building correlation rules for security event management products
JOB REQUIREMENTS

You:
- Understand the mind of a hacker
- Have done penetration testing/vulnerability assessments
- Understand Nessus and other vulnerability products
- Have JAVA, C, C++ and scripting skills
- Are very familiar with the security industry
- Have a passion for threats/vulerabilities
- Are a potential team leader
