Position: Sr. Product Manager

Sr. Product Manager Redwood Shores, CA
Qualys is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive the creation and marketing
of exceptional software security products. The right person will be primarily
responsible for inbound and outbound product management for one or more
products and will work closely with sales, marketing, strategic alliances,
engineering, and QA. This position reports to the Vice President of Marketing.
Responsibilities
Understanding security trends within our customer and prospect base
Working closely with these customers and prospects to define product
requirements
Writing requirements documents and functional specifications
Working closely with Engineering to ensure delivery of high quality product
Interfacing with the sales and strategic alliance teams as the product and
subject matter expert
Crafting product messaging and positioning, collateral, demos, presentations
and other sales tools
Training customer-facing staff and partners
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
At least 7 years of experience as a product manager, launching products in the
network security space. Experience is required in all phases of both inbound
and outbound product management.
This individual must be able to communicate effectively with the Qualys
engineering team to ensure timely delivery of quality products. Strong customer
relationship and presentation skills are essential.
Must be able to work independently, reach goals within assigned timeframes, and
work positively and productively in team environments.
We are looking for an intelligent, enthusiastic team player with a positive
attitude and winning track record.
A technical undergraduate degree is preferable
