Position: Manager, Information Security

Consultancy Manager (Financial Services)
This leading Consultancy require an ambitious Information Security Manager. You
will develop and deliver technical proposals resource and manage assignment
delivery monitor and support staff development and produce excellent written
reports, specifically within the Financial Services industry sector
Accountabilities:
• Clients: Managing a portfolio of clients and assignments
managing key client relationships and expectations addressing very complex
technical points with a mix of senior client developing and delivering service
and value charters and providing quality assurance and monitoring risks.
• Operational: Identifying, developing and pursuing client and
market opportunities, by actively targeting and evaluating opportunities for
selling work developing assignment plans that will ensure profitability
managing sales and utilisation targets for teams winning work by proactively
managing existing clients participating in other sales initiatives and
monitoring work in progress, billing and cash collection.
• People: Managing assignment teams, including deep technical
resources
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
At least five years specialist IT security experience, with significant
financial services industry experience.
Strong client management skills with the ability to build and develop networks
and relationships with internal contacts and current clients
• A track record in developing and winning new business would be
highly desirable or the attributes and skills to be a strong business developer
Key technical skills:
• Good understanding of and experience in implementing
information security management and information systems governance in large
financial services organisations
• Good understanding of and implementation or operations
experience in enterprise-wide user identity management encryption tools and
technologies intrusion detection and / or enterprise security management and
administration solutions
• Experience of running major security policy roll-out,
awareness, implementation and assurance programmes
• Knowledge of operating system security specifics for at least 2
operating systems (eg UNIX, Windows NT)
• Risk-based understanding of information security management
theory and practice
• IT Infrastructure systems or Application development experience
