Position: Manager, Information Security
Location: Leeds, Edinburgh, , GB
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 02/20/2005
This leading Consultancy require ambitious, high calibre Information Security
Managers to be based in their offices in both Leeds and Edinburgh.
Accountabilities:
Operational - Resources and manages effective delivery of assignments.
Monitors staff availability and chargeability and supports development of other
staff.
Manages development and delivery of technical proposals, producing an excellent
quality of written products.
Client
Manages a portfolio of clients and assignments. Manages key client
relationships and expectations. Addresses very complex technical points with
senior client mix.
People
Manages assignment teams including deep technical resources Partners.
Financial
Identifies, develops and pursues client and market opportunities by actively
targeting and evaluating opportunities for selling work.
Wins work by proactively managing existing clients. Participates in other sales
initiatives.
Monitors work in progress, billing and cash collection.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
At least six years Information Security experience, of which at least one year
is as Manager.
Very good broad understanding and practical experience of IT security risk and
control issues, including a structured way of developing and delivering
tailored solutions.
Detailed understanding and practical experience in a number of information
security management and technical IT security disciplines.
Strong client management skills with the ability to build and develop networks
and relationships with internal contacts and current clients.
A proven track record in developing and winning new business would be highly
desirable or the attributes and skills to be a strong business developer.
