Position:       Sales Engineer
Location:       Indianapolis, Indiana, US
Type:           Permanent F/T
Closing Date:   01/27/2005

Sales Engineer - Indianapolis or Chicago 

Position Responsabilities:
Oversees pre-sale and/or post-sale support of company products/systems. 
Provides technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations, 
installation and maintenance of company products to ensure that the system is 
functioning according to specifications. Provides answers to customer inquiries 
concerning system software and applications. Provides software development and 
consultation to prospective users. May build a mini-application based on 
customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often 
requiring rapid prototyping.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------

Required Experience:
&#149; Linux
&#149; Solaris
&#149; Window
&#149; Networking 
&#149; Firewall, IDS, router 3rd party system knowledge
&#149; 5 Years Pre-sales Experience

Desired Experience:
&#149; CISSP (preferred)
&#149; Experience with SIM preferred

Minimum Required Education:
&#149; BSCS or equiv. preferred.
