Join the Information Services team at Children’s Hospital Boston as a Sr.
Security Analyst! The qualified individual in this position will support the
operation of the Information Security Group through the implementation of tools
and techniques to aid in the efficient deployment of security policy and
practice on the hospital network and its various heterogeneous systems. He or
she may perform security audits or vulnerability assessments. This person may
also monitor logs from firewall and/or IDS systems and address security related
issues as they arise.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Position requires existing CISSP or GIAC certification or the ability to obtain
one within one year. Minimum of 5 years systems administration experience,
including extensive knowledge of security administration. HIPAA familiarity a
plus. Knowledge of Identity and Access Management a plus. Knowledge of
network technology, e.g. VPN tunnels, firewalls, IDS. Experienced with tools
such as lsof, snort, tcpdump, ethereal, nmap and nessus. A good knowledge of
network packet construction, and the ability to perform analysis on tcpdump
captures, malware, and the like. Ability to create tools and utilities as
needed from source or a scripting language (e.g. C, TCL, PHP, PERL, bash).
