NETWORK SECURITY MANAGER
Position Scope:
The Network Security Manager will execute the necessary controls and procedures
to protect data assets from unauthorized access, modification or destruction.
Responsible for maintaining integrated programs to protect the integrity,
confidentiality, and availability of the organization’s information
resources. Based on plans developed by the Director of Technical Services and
Network Services Manager, the Security Manager will implement and maintain a
security infrastructure for the entire Network infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
· System and Network security monitoring and controls, setup and
installation, hardware and software troubleshooting and configuration.
· Identify, review, recommend, implement and perform ongoing
administration of Firewalls, assigning the appropriate access entitlements to
each user, Single Image sign-on Ids, encryption/authentication, Virus
containment, audit and SOX compliance, change management and other security
related products.
· Develop and administer system plans for disaster recovery and
use of related software.
· Evaluates and reports on new and emerging information security
technologies.
· Perform information security risk assessments and serves as an
internal auditor for security issues.
· Implements information security policies and procedures for the
organization.
· Reviews all system-related security plans throughout the
organization's network, acting as a liaison to Information Systems.
· Monitors compliance with information security policies and
procedures, referring problems to the appropriate department manager.
· Provide direction and project oversight of System Security
Administrator.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
· Expert with web and application servers, storage applications,
directories, firewalls, and network architecture.
· 5+ years of experience in working in a technical operations
environment managing security infrastructure.
· Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field.
· Internet computing, systems security and user administration
experience.
· CISSP and Microsoft MCSE +1 (Certified System Engineer +
Internet) preferred.
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple
priorities at one time.
· Team player with solid communication skills
· Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
· Prior Supervisor experience.
· Excellent project planning skills and the ability to
effectively manage work of others.
