For more information, visit http://www.websense.com Job Summary: Overlay sales position responsible for driving the sale of desktop security product (Client Policy Manager-CPM) in a specified Territory. Proactively work with general Websense sales representatives including Inside CPM representatives and VAR partners to successfully grow CPM sales with existing and new Websense customers. Essential Functions: • Do whatever is necessary to help region meet CPM revenue target. • Develop a target account list of existing Websense customers with good potential for upgrading to CPM. Develop strategy with the responsible salesperson and work the opportunity to successful close. • Work with internal marketing resources to develop a lead generation campaign to identify new CPM opportunities. • Become an expert in the desktop security space with in-depth knowledge of the competition and their strengths and weaknesses • Help train existing partners on CPM in conjunction with Channel Sales Specialist • Recruit new resellers with expertise in desktop solutions. • Manage prospecting and sales activities in assigned territory. Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in technical sales, special consideration given to Desktop Security experience 3.
