Leading developer and marketer of computer security and privacy software is 
looking for a Business Development Director (ISV).
Seeking a senior, proven professional.  Need is immediate – would like to 
have in place for mid January 2005 sales meeting.  Opportunity is excellent:  
strong, increasing pull from partners and the market for the company's 
solutions  multiple partners already committed and at various stages of doing 
business with this company  chance to build a SMB reseller program  “run 
your own show”
Public company with phenomenal results. Went from approximately $500K in 
revenue back in 2001 to almost $6M in revenue last year. So far in 2004 they 
are blowing those numbers away (over $13M in revenue Q1-Q3) and are looking for 
the best of the best to contribute to their continued success. 

Responsibility:  develop business with Independent Software Vendors (ISV).  
Help build SMB reseller program.  Recruit and develop business with qualified 
regional/national security service providers/resellers.



JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
* 8 plus years doing business development for a software company focused on 
ISV’s, OEM’s (e.g. HP, Cisco), and regional/national resellers. 

    * 8 years comprised of minimum 2 year tenures per employer  not interested 
in candidates with multiple 1 year or less tenures.
    * Not interested in candidates who have done business development primarily 
for consulting/SI companies. 

* Preferably some security experience and business development experience with 
security ISV’s and resellers.
* Has built C-level relationships and partnerships from scratch.
* Has worked personally driven revenue in conjunction with partners at the 
account level.
* Can demonstrate revenue production by partner and on an annual basis as well 
as against quota.
* Can name specific F1000 accounts that has sold in conjunction with partners 
and describe his/her role in helping close.
* Can describe business agreements that has incubated, structured, negotiated 
and executed with ISV’s, OEM’s, and resellers and name who they were, 
as well as the scope of the agreement.
* Can describe processes, procedures, guidelines and other operational 
infrastructure has built to facilitate the development of business and 
generation of revenue.
* MUST be US Citizen or permanent resident
* Local candidates given preference
