Position: Security Consultant

Job Title: Technical Security Consultant
Driven by increases in client demand, Next Generation Security Software Ltd.
(NGS) requires an additional 5 top calibre technical security consultants to
work on some of the most challenging and exciting security engagements in the
industry. Working with many of the best known names in vulnerability research
and penetration testing you can expect to be challenged and learning new things
on a daily basis.
As a technical security consultant you will be responsible for providing
cutting-edge technical consultancy and penetration testing to top companies or
governments around the world. Using your skills and experience as an
established technical authority, you will be given opportunities to stretch
yourself and to develop into an international security star.
Opportunities exist for client-focused technical security consultants to also
manage client accounts should they wish and earn commission (uncapped).
Already the largest specialist attack-based consultancy in Europe, with over 9
CHECK Team Leaders and 20 penetration testers, technical security consultants
joining the team can expect to hone their existing skills and proceed to the
next level in technical ability.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
- Minimum of 5 years security experience
- Minimum of 3 years hands-on consultancy skills
- Experienced in penetration testing and application assessment
- Deep knowledge of at least two current operating systems
- Client facing and willing to travel globally for short periods
- Must have excellent technical writing and communication skills
Pluses:
CHECK Team Leader qualification
Security Clearance
Reverse engineering and advanced debugging skills
C++ experience or other core development language
Hands-on network administration experience in a large financial or ISP
