Position: Security Product Marketing Manager
Location: Sunnyvale, California, US
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 01/12/2005
As a member of the Juniper Networks Solutions Marketing team, the candidate
will be responsible for managing cross functional teams to create solutions and
supporting collateral around the value of Junipers long-term vision for network
service provider and corporate networking, incorporating the Juniper portfolio
and partner solutions.
Candidate will also work with alliance partners to support solution definition,
proposition, validation, go-to-market collateral.
Participate in strategic decisions on network vision, and the identification of
key themes and promotion of identified solutions.
Participate in solution introduction processes that decide for example:
pricing, channels, life cycle management, system testing, bundling services.
Lead articulation of long-term vision and solutions into field sales, channel,
customer, media and industry analysts.
Location: Sunnyvale, California or Westford, MA
Travel 10-30%
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Skills
- Expertise in network service provider and corporate networking business
requirements and technology imperatives, with one or more of sFW, encryption,
IDS, identity management.
- At least 5 years experience in networking and/or security industry
- Comfortable leading and working in virtual teams.
- Strong communication skills, including written and presenting
- Marketing experience, planning, defining proposition, creating
collateral, presenting
