Position: Security Engineer
Location: new york, New York, US
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 01/11/2005
Mid-level Security Engineer needed to perform a wide variety of of security
related tasks. As a security engineer you will be performing Security
Assessments/Audits, be writing policies and procedures, and designing security
solutions for our clients.
This position is contract-to-hire. The first 3 months is contract with the
right to hire on permanent basis thereafter.
Contract rate is between $30-$45/hour depending on experience.
Perm. salary is between 70-80 plus bonus and benefits (health, life,
disability, dental)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
-Knowledge of VPN, Firewalls (cisco,checkpoint, netscreen), IDS/IPS,
*nix(required!!!), VA Tools (retina,nessus,nikto, satan,appscan)
-Must have performed security assessments in the past.
-Knowledge of Federal Regulations (SOX, GLBA, HIPAA, CFR-11) and standards
(iso17799, Cobit) is highly desired
Must have excellent technical writing and communicative skills.
Pluses:
Able to obtain CISSP in first 6 months.
NSA IAM certification
Cisco CSA agent
Networking background
