Position: Information Assurance Engineer

Job Title: Solutions Monitoring Engineer
Salary: $60-70 plus 5-10% bonus, plus options
Reports to: Chief Technology Officer

Job Overview:
This job involves the continuous improvement of the technologies used to
proactively monitor performance characteristics of all equipment in the secured
hosting facility, and development of new tools which aid the operations staff
in diagnostic and troubleshooting tasks.
Job Description:
§ Administration and maintenance of Nagios, an open source host, service
and network monitoring program and SEC tools
§ Development of specialized network monitoring probes in Perl
§ Development of monitors and data views to facilitate the proactive
maintenance of core infrastructure and customer solutions
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:
§ Strong knowledge of SNMP management of network devices and servers
§ Familiarity with Rapid Remote Deployment (RRD), and ability to script
performance analysis and graphical data views
§ Ability to work with operations group and take guidance for new
tools/capabilities which would improve their performance
