Position: Security Director
Location: Amsterdam, , NL
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 12/31/2004
Growing the company’s Security Practice in Europe. This includes tripling
the existing revenue base, managing the profitability of security projects, and
building a team of internal consultants and outside experts capable of
delivering on projects with flawless execution.
Specific duties will include:
Bringing new security business to the Company. Having a network of industry
contacts in Europe would therefore be extremely beneficial.
Expanding the company’s security business into new market segments.
Personally marketing the company’s security capabilities to the industry,
including speaking at conferences, etc.
Building a security practice capable of delivering projects using a combination
of practice resources and external subcontractors.
Building a security sub-contracting network across Europe.
Responding to bids and creating proposals as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

An undergraduate degree, with a preference for engineering. Additionally, an
advanced degree or MBA would be desirable.
- Approximately 10 to 15 years industry experience preferably with some
exposure to telecommunications related professional services.
- CISSP certified.
·Strong leadership.
·Pan-European experience.
·Enterprise and government experience.
·Proven managerial skills in a matrixed Sales organisation.
·A successful track record of value based selling with demonstrable
success in identifying, crafting, and closing profitable.
·Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills are essential.
Ability to apply well developed negotiating and influencing skills in a
matrixed, team oriented environment is essential.
·Comfortable and credible at board level.
·Entrepreneurial and dynamic.
·Superior verbal communication skills. This is crucial to building and
maintaining excellent relationships with clients as well as throughout the
organization.
·Be a “self-directed” and “committed” individual yet
able to seek assistance and support when needed.
