Position:       Quality Assurance
Location:       Dallas, Texas, US

Description:
The Quality Assurance Engineer’s primary responsibility is to develop and 
conduct a variety of quality control tests and analysis to ensure that software 
meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements. Assists in the 
leadership of personnel. 

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and conduct a variety of quality control tests and analysis to 
ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user 
requirements. Test types include software integration testing, application 
testing, automated testing and performance testing.

2. Work closely with other Software Test Engineers and Developers within 
Citadel to develop and execute validation test plans on Citadel developed 
security software.

3. Report test results.

4. Regress problems to root or system level cause for handoff to Debug Team. 
Instruct/mentor junior test engineers in test methodologies. 




JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Required Skills:

1. Minimum of 5 years of Software Test leadership experience.

2. Strong knowledge of web-enabled security technologies and testing in a 
web-enabled environment.

3. Comprehensive understanding of IT disciplines. Experience testing software 
using a variety of Operating Systems. Knowledge should include at least two of 
the following: Windows Operating Systems, Red Hat Linux, Sun Solaris, HP-UX, 
AIX, and TCP/IP networking. Desired knowledge: Mercury Test Director, C++ or C# 
knowledge, Perl / Python, Mac OSX, COM+, SQL, IIS, SOAP, XML, and OS and 
network security.

4. Good communication skills to summarize and present information effectively 
to upper management. Software compatibility testing experience preferred.

5. Proven leadership, drive for results, self-management, and the ability to 
handle multiple critical issues simultaneously.

6. Computer related Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
