Position: Security Engineer
Location: Columbus, Ohio, US
Type: Permanent F/T

The JPMorgan Chase Desktop Engineering group is looking for a Lead Engineer for
its Anti-Virus and Desktop Security group located in Columbus, OH. This
individual should have in-depth knowledge of Symantec Anti-Virus, experience
with large scale architecture implementations and leadership and communication
experience. Responsibilities include providing technical leadership,
engineering solutions and third level support for the corporate Anti-Virus
service.
Qualifications:
The candidate must meet the following qualifications:
Experience designing and deploying an enterprise level Symantec Anti-Virus
architecture, including scalability, redundancy, and roaming in a global mixed
environment of Windows and Novell desktops and servers...Expertise with
Symantec AV 7,8 Client and Server, including packaging, deploying, supporting
and maintaining the software...Experience with Symantec reporting products,
including Incident Manager, Event Manager and SESA...Experience managing large
engineering projects and deliverables in a fast-paced, changing, global
environment...Experience with industry best practices and day-to-day operations
of an enterprise level AV infrastructure and service...Knowledge of security
best practices for protecting against security violations and outbreaks,
including worms, Trojan horses, viruses and other malicious code...Ability to
communicate issues, status and resolutions to varying levels of
management...Excellent communication, presentation and writing
skills...Experience wit
h Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Visio...Experience with Microsoft and
Novell operating systems...Experience with networking technologies, including
DNS, WINS and TCP/IP
The following qualifications would be a plus:
Experience with Symantec family of security products, including Client
Security, Anti-Virus for Mail, ESM, and HIDS...Experience with security
products from industry leading vendors, including Trend Micro and Computer
Associates...Project Management skills...Technical writing skills...Experience
with scripting languages and MSI packaging...Experience with queries from SQL
and Oracle databases...Experience with Web design
