Position: VP / Dir / Mgr engineering

Director of Information Technology - my client is seeking a person with strong
leadership experience to define, manage, and implement all aspects of
information technology. They are a rapidly growing, venture backed, and well
capitalized technology company. This person will manage a team of seasoned
professionals who are integrally involved in all aspects of the company's
buisiness operations. Company has been growing greater than 40% per year with
their last quarter of $8 million.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Manage the company's IT infrastructure, including network management, help
desk, and telecommunications. Establish an effective IT plan around security,
backup, and disaster recovery. Compliment the company's engineering process.
Provide a focused and disciplined approach around data management, providing
both a corrective action plan and an on-going plan to maintain data integrity.
Bachelors degree required, MS in technical discipline or an MBA is preferred.
10 or more years of progressive and successful experience in a technology based
company, and 2 or more years in a Director level. Knowledge of applications
and familiarity with MS products - Server 2003, Exchange 2003, SQL 2000, XP,
Office. Web development technologies such as ASP, Cold Fusion, and .NET.
