Zone Labs, Inc. - A Check Point Company and leader in the Internet Security
Software Market is recruiting for a Security Services Product Manager for our
San Francisco Team.
Summary:
The Security Services Product Manager is responsible for driving the delivery
of Security Services offerings to both internal and external customers. A
significant portion of this position is managing infrastructure projects that
enable Zone Labs software products to use security services.
Ideal candidates have experience as a product/project manager at security
software vendor particularly in the area of anti-virus, intrusion detection /
prevent, vulnerability assessment, or similar technologies that include a
dynamic content element.
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate market needs for service offerings through prospects, customer
interaction, market research, industry conferences, etc.
• Perform business-case analysis of software services offerings
• Determine what software features are required to support service
offerings
• Work with architecture, engineering, and product management teams to
determine infrastructure and applications required to enable new software
services features
• Work with security operations and content management staff to determine
required infrastructure and applications required to support content management
and reporting
• Manage infrastructure project and feature prioritization
• Coordinate the assignment of resources between various internal groups
in order to meet software release schedules and business goals
• Act as the a customer advocate during design, architecture, and
implementation decisions
• Ensure that appropriate security safe-guards have been implemented in
services projects
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of product management experience with an in-bound focus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Critical thinking and trade-off analysis skills
• Ability to manage several projects concurrently
• Strong information security knowledge (CISSP or similar desirable)
• Ideal candidates will come from an antivirus, IDS, or end-point
security vendor background

• Content Distribution Networks
• Firewalls/End-point security
• Antivirus/Malware

Education and/or Experience:
• BA or equivalent experience
• MBA desirable
