Position: Director of Privacy and Security
Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, US
Type: Permanent F/T

Comcast Online Communications is looking for a " Director of Privacy and
Security" (13247BR).
The ideal candidates primary responsibility will be to define the standards,
the strategic direction, business issues, and priorities of Comcast High-Speed
Internet in the important area of customer privacy and security.
Duties:
1. Ensure Comcast is providing a comprehensive suite of customer privacy and
security applications.
2. Lead the strategy and vision for privacy and security measures that impact
customers.
3. Develop and expand the current capabilities of Comcast High Speed Internets
security and privacy program by working within the industry and within Comcast.
4. Develop, facilitate and promote activities that create security awareness
both within Comcast and among Comcast HSI customers.
5. Maintain an acute awareness of best in class security and privacy
applications and evaluate deployment thorough strict functional analysis and
business case evaluation.
6. Formulate the companys response to incidents, security advisories, and other
security related operational issues.
7. Ensure adequate planning and resource prioritization needed to maximize the
effectiveness of the Security and Privacy policy both internally and in
customer facing communications.
8. Interface with senior management as necessary, providing reports,
presentations, and recommendations covering the operational aspects of security
and privacy.
9. Identify risks and system needs, define solutions and appropriate ISP
security standards.
10. Play a lead role on the Virus Response Team by providing guidance and
recommending policy.
11. Provide technical and strategic leadership into the research, examination,
and analysis of Internet computer security trends and topics
JOB REQUIREMENTS

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Requirements
1. Strong familiarity with security applications and products and best
practices surrounding ISP security.
2. Three years of experience in Internet Service Provider (ISP) security or
similar environment.
3. Demonstrated knowledge of recognized ISP Security-related standards
4. Understanding of a broad range of ISP security issues, including but not
limited to firewalls, virus protection, hacking, vulnerabilities phishing and
spam.
5. Knowledgeable about security issues, vulnerabilities, legislative changes
and security standards that may impact Comcast’ s High-Speed Internet
subscribers.
6. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, analytical, organizational,
problem-solving, and written & verbal communication skills.
7. Undergraduate Degree & MBA preferred.
