Looking for a Director of Marketing Communications

This high impact position is responsible for partnering with the SVP Corporate 
Marketing and other members of the marketing team to develop and implement 
world-class marketing communication initiatives targeted to prospects, 
partners, customers, and sales team to drive and meet growth and revenue 
targets and enhance the corporate brand. Measures of success for this position 
will be: increased qualified leads  enhanced corporate brand (as measured 
through communication tracking)  achieved revenue and profitability targets  
world-class marketing programs delivered on-time and on-budget.

Strategic Imperatives

Brand development: elevates strategic decisions or makes judgment calls (as 
appropriate) regarding: 
o development, execution, and adoption of the corporate brand strategy
o branding and communication standards and guidelines 
Creative execution: provides world-class execution leadership for marketing 
communication initiatives in alignment with business and communications 
strategy (as defined by SVP Corporate Marketing)
o global advertising
o go-to-market sales materials/collateral (including all systems)
o internal marketing communications initiatives
Partner marketing: provides leadership and execution support that drives best 
of breed partner programs (e.g. OEM, private label, etc.) and expands footprint 
and awareness.
Tactical planning: bridges business objectives and tactical execution to drive 
revenue
o prioritizes tactical assignments 
o elevates issues and rallies discussion to clarify business and communications 
goals
Department relations: co-manages department relationships between 
o field marketing
o product marketing
o PR
o sales
o finance
o co-marketing partners
Vendor relations: co-manages outside agencies and vendors  maintains solid 
fiscal responsibility and accountability 
o Global HQ ad agency
o Global collateral agency
o Other creative service agencies 
o Freelance pool
Employee development: manages internal marketing team to high performance 
standards, and provides development opportunities for team members  exhibits 
servant leadership attitude  encourages team to perform and achieve very high 
standards



JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
* Bachelor's degree in a related area  MBA preferred.
* Minimum of least 10 years of experience
* Demonstrated success in driving revenue-generating marketing programs 
* Outstanding communications, interpersonal, and excellent writing and editing 
skills.
* Strong strategic and execution skills, with an emphasis on results
* Willingness to work with ambiguity self starter.
* Ability to multi-task and create clarity from complexity.
* Strong prioritization and organization skills.
* Ability to work very tight deadlines and in a team environment.
* Excellent hands-on team/employee management.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
