Interoperability Testing Manager – Network Security Products

PGP Corporation is building a new interoperability testing facility and is 
looking for a Interoperability Testing Manager. The Interop Lab's mandate is to 
ascertain and document interoperability between PGP products and a wide variety 
of other, related third-party products. The Interoperability Testing Manager 
will be responsible for the Lab's day to day management and operation. This 
position is located in our Palo Alto, CA, headquarters.

Responsibilities:

Development and execution of test plans and product interoperability testing 
Development of general testing processes and tools 
Extensive documentation of testing processes as well as findings of 
interoperability testing 
Management of testing resources as well as inventory of equipment 
Specification of the testing facility 
Interaction with members of the Product, Engineering, Customer Support, and 
Systems Engineering teams as well as with enterprise customers 



JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Track record of network design and implementation 
Ability to build test networks with hubs, switches, and routers 
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, including routing, firewalls, and NAT 
Applied understanding of standard enterprise networking protocols, including 
SSH, SNMP, and email protocols including POP, IMAP, and SMTP 
Technical proficiency with installation, configuration, and operation of 
Windows and UNIX-like operating systems, including Mac OS X 
Solid enterprise networking experience, including network and server 
configuration and deployment 
Highly evolved network product evaluation skills, including knowledge of 
testing process and methodology as well as strong analytical thinking 
Proven written communication skills  candidates should be prepared to provide 
writing samples of technical materials 
Preferred Experience:

Background working in a test/evaluation lab in an academic or enterprise 
environment 
Basic proficiency in Perl, Python, and/or (ba)sh 
Knowledge of enterprise email
