Position: Technical Marketing Engineer
Location: Boston, Massachusetts, US
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 12/16/2004
My client is seeking a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer for their global
high speed network security company. You will be responsible for conducting
competitive research and analysis and will report to the Product Management
Group and be working in a lab environment installing, configuring and testing
the latest network security equipment.
You will work with developers to improve products and support field teams on
key customer accounts through consultation and network design.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
5 years experience in network security and system administration/lab
experience. Strong technical knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, FTP and network
security appliances (Firewall, VPN, IDS, IPS) as well as Security Protocols
(authentication, encryption and compression). Installation,configuration and
support of Microsoft Windows Operations System Platforms, Linux, and Solaris
Operating System experience a plus. Strong presentation skills. B.S./M.S.
degree in CS, CE or EE preferred. 10-15% travel. No relocation offered.
