Position: Developer
Location: Boston, Massachusetts, US
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 12/16/2004
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
* Member of a team that designs and implements security, identity, and
provisioning infrastructure technologies for use throughout the product line.
* These state-of-the-art and next-generation technology components
integrate with multiple existing, emerging and third-party products on multiple
platforms and in multiple environments.
* Work with Product Management, Architecture, Project Management, QA,
Documentation, Release Engineering, Continuing Engineering, Support and Sales
to define, build, and ensure the commercial success of these technology
components throughout the complete development and product lifecycles.
* Adhere to software engineering process and standards including developing
product requirements, functional specifications, design specifications,
implementations conforming to coding standards, and unit tests suitable for
incorporation in automated test suites.
* Define and implement the next generation of IT security.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must have some or all of the following qualifications and skills:
*Experience in one or more of the following areas:
1) web services security
2) common criteria
3) intrusion hacker--"white hat hacker"
4) Java sw diagnostics (hooks in systems that collect statistics, run
algorithms and send alerts, etc.)
* BS or higher in an engineering discipline.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Strong object oriented design and development skills.
* Java/J2EE expertise Understanding of Java and J2EE security models.
* C/C++ knowledge a plus.
* Minimum 3 years of experience developing enterprise-class commercial software
for Windows, UNIX, and Linux environments.
* Experience with distributed security systems that incorporate Authentication,
Authorization, Audit, Roles, Policies, Single-Sign-On, User Management, User
and Resource
Provisioning, Legacy integration, Cryptography and PKI.
* Experience with existing and emerging standards including SAML, XACML,
SPML, Web Services Security, XML D-Sig and Kerberos.
* Experience with large-scale, distributed, and high performance systems
RDBMS, LDAP, Identity Managements, and Provisioning experience.
