Job Summary:
Research Engineer with security and networking experience.
Essential Functions:
-Research in determining malicious websites
-Phishing and Fraud sites
-Sites that spread malicious code
-Sites that are hosting Spyware
-Researching network behavior of applications.
-Research in evaluating competitive products.
-Research and behavioral analysis on Spyware applications.
-Bonus: Researching malicious code behavior.
Participate in research projects with other team members and associates.
Documenting research tools and systems.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Skills:
-Excellent problem solving skills.
-Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
-Ability to work under pressures and to meet tight deadlines.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Experience creating network packet signatures a plus.
Education and Experience:
-Experience in this field desired along with Bachelors in Computer Sciences or
equivalent work experience.
-Experience with analyzing malicious code (Spyware, etc).
-Experience with Web scripting languages (vb script, java, etc).
-Experience dissecting / analyzing network traffic • Experience with
Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDS / IDP) technologies.
-Experience in Malicious Code Reverse Engineering and analyzing a bonus.
-Experience with Cisco router and switching technologies a bonus.
-Experience with Firewall, authentication, and other technologies a bonus.
-Must have an in-depth understanding of the underlying technologies within
operating systems
-In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP
-Knowledge of software development practices and methodologies.
