Position:       Channel / Business Development
Location:       Santa Clara, California, US
Type:           Permanent F/T

Senior Channels Sales Executive needed to define nationwide Security Channels 
strategy and develop business for growing Enterprise Security Company. 
Successful candidate will have strong relationships with decision makers within 
security VAR's and will be responsible for the overall Channels Business 
Development and implementation of corporate strategies surrounding the US 
marketplace. Responsibilities include: Identifying, recruiting and selling 
Security Channel Resellers on company products and services  Working with 
territory Sales Executives to build solid revenue generating relationships with 
Channel partners  Developing and leveraging a ‘best practices’ sales 
process that will become a repeatable process for the Channels team  Program 
Development and Management  Ensuring that all necessary product/services and 
training are provided to strategic partners and resellers  Driving and 
achieving Channel revenue goals. Candidate location is open, must be willing to 
t
 ravel extensively.




JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Requirements: 5 + years of experience in Channel Sales and Business Development 
 Strong security VAR contacts and relationships  Experience with developing and 
leveraging a ‘best practices’ sales process  Program Development and 
Management experience  Team player and self starter who thrives in 
entrepreneurial environments  Must be able to address business propositions 
that make channels successful, then measure program success  Excellent 
presentation, written and verbal communication skills  In-depth understanding 
of managing strategic alliances and maintaining/developing business 
relationships  Ability to travel significantly within the U.S. is required.

Ideal candidate will be based in California, in the Bay Area.  Hiring Executive 
may consider remote candidate if there is a very strong match.
