Position: Sr. Security Engineer
Location: Redwood City, California, US
Type: Permanent F/T

Ingrian Networks has an opening in the security engineering group. Ingrian is
a startup company making data protection products for enterprise use. We're
the market leader in the field of database encryption.
Ingrian's engineering division is a dedicated group of smart people who know how
to deliver products on time.
Security Engineer Position Description:
Will work with a small team of security engineers and the larger engineering
organization to:
-improve the security of Ingrian DataSecure platform, cryptographic provider
clients, and new products by participating in reviews and designing and writing
security-related tests.
-update and fix security issues in existing products.
-design and write new security-related software.
-assist with security certification (i.e. FIPS 140-2).
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Security Engineer Requirements:
-Extensive experience (at least five years) in software development on Unix in
C and C++.
-Deep knowledge of Linux operating system and Linux security.
-Have designed and written security-focused code.
-Experience doing security-focused design and code reviews.
-Experience in developing tests for security holes (i.e. penetration testing,
coverage testing).
-Experience writing cryptographic APIs.
