This is a single opening with PricewaterhouseCoopers' Identity Management 
practice. This position can be based out of any of the following locations: 
Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Minneapolis or St.Louis.


PricewaterhouseCoopers is currently seeking qualified professionals to join the 
Industry leading Security - Identity Management (IdM) group which is part of 
our Advisory Services practice.  These professionals will serve as key 
fieldwork integrators on engagement teams assisting with the design and 
implementation of Identity Management solutions in IT security engagements.

Successful candidates will work with engagement teams to ensure that projects 
are designed using PwC’s proven practices, participate in or manage teams 
responsible for the integration of designed environments and work closely with 
both clients and the engagement team to meet requirements set by multiple 
parties. Integrators must have a foundational understanding of security 
infrastructure concepts across operating systems, networking, n tiered 
architectures and experience with security applications including, access 
management solutions, user provisioning solutions, and/or enterprise directory 
solutions.

In addition to technical skills, strong communication skills are required. 
Successful deployment of complex identity management solutions requires 
effective communications with the client through all phases of the systems 
development lifecycle.  Part of the candidate’s role is to identify areas 
where opportunities or risks exist, facilitate communication between the groups 
and suggest alternatives and mutually agreeable solutions.

Ability to articulate recommendations to client's complex business problems 
through the use of written reports and presentations. Demonstrate and apply 
advanced understanding of complex IT systems.  Experience directing, 
supervising, and reviewing work of others 


JOB REQUIREMENTS

Job Requirements:
The role will require a range of both technical and consulting skills. 
Candidates will need at a minimum 3-6 years of technical experience in several 
of the following areas/technologies: 

Required Skills:
•  Experience designing, architecting, and implementing Identity 
Management/Provisioning solutions at an enterprise level.
•  Hands-on experience with at least one of the following Identity 
Management solutions: 
        Sun Java System Identity Manager/Waveset Lighthouse 
        IBM Tivoli Identity Manager 
        Oblix COREid, Microsoft MIIS 
        Netegrity IdentityMinder eProvision
        Novell Nsure
•  Application Server installation and configuration (Web Logic, 
WebSphere, Tomcat, etc.)
•  Experience with at least two of the following: J2EE, Java, JDK, 
JavaScript, HTML, XML, .NET Framework, C/C++/Visual C++
•  Familiarity with network operating systems such as Windows 
NT/2000/2003, Sun Solaris, or, Linux

Preferred Skills: 
•  Prior Big 4 or consulting experience preferred
•  Database installation and configuration (MSSQL, Oracle, DB2, etc.)
•  Previous experience with directory solutions (Active Directory, SunONE 
Directory Server, Novell eDirectory, IBM SecureWay Directory, 
•  Web Services experience

Education Requirements:
•  Bachelor's degree - minimum
