Federal Enterprise Business Manager, Defense Agencies 

The mission of the Federal Enterprise Business Manager for the Defense Agencies 
is to generate new software and services revenue within US Department of 
Defense, Intelligence Organizations, and System Integrators, while enhancing 
the reputation of the Company’s within those markets. You will be 
responsible for establishing new and maintain existing client relationships 
within assigned Defense Agencies and key programs. You will effectively and 
rapidly assess prospects’ and clients' business and technical objectives 
and requirements, articulate effective value propositions, and manage 
opportunities through the government evaluation and procurement processes to 
successful revenue recognition. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 
•  Achieve quarterly and annual quota as set by the Director of Federal 
Sales. 
•  Form strategic account plans including customer profiles, targeted 
programs, application descriptions, weekly and quarterly forecasts and action 
items. 
•  Identify opportunities, generate interest, qualify, educate, and 
develop and close new opportunities within assigned Defense agencies. 
•  Educate federal customers and partners on the Company’s offerings, 
processes and opportunities and manage all activities in assigned territory. 
•  Deliver corporate and customer presentations at customer sites as 
necessary to meet and exceed quota goals. 
•  Grow and manage opportunity pipeline. 
•  Develop appropriate high level relationships with agency management and 
targeted System Integrators. 
•  Drive monthly and quarterly revenue objectives, bookings targets, and 
contracts for named Defense Agency Federal accounts. 
•  Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reports depicting revenue growth 
and account penetration. 
•  Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of all the Company’s 
key competitors. 
•  Develop and maintain technical and marketing knowledge of the 
Company’s enterprise product line. 



JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
•  7 to 10 years successful experience selling network security software, 
services and solutions to U.S. Department of Defense and Intelligence 
Organizations. 
•  Successful government account sales experience in Defense agencies, 
selling directly and through system integrators. 
•  Knowledge of the following technologies: Network Security, VPN's, 
Routing, Switching, WANs, and LANs. 
•  Ability to develop, write and articulate a strategic account plan. 
•  Ability to influence large Federal Agencies, programs and politics.
