Position:       Security Product Marketing Manager
Location:       Redwood City, California, US
Type:           Permanent F/T

Checkpoint Software Technologies currently has an opportunity with our 
Worldwide Marketing team for a Product Marketing Manager, Security.  

Key responsibilities include:

&middot; Assume marketing ownership for a set of Check Point products and 
solutions 

&middot; Manage marketing efforts for new product introductions

&middot; Create effective sales tools, including selling guides, sales 
presentations, data sheets, white papers, competitive briefs, FAQs, etc.

&middot; Analyze competitive products, tactics, and strategies

&middot; Create compelling product positioning to differentiate Check Point in 
the Internet security marketplace

&middot; Represent Check Point at seminars, industry panels, tradeshows, 
press/analyst interviews, customer meetings, etc.

&middot; Develop and present sales training for Check Point&#146;s field sales 
force and reseller partners




JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
&middot; 4+ years experience in IT security markets, 7+ years product marketing 
or technical marketing experience

&middot; BA/BS in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or 
Engineering required. (MBA is highly desirable)

&middot; Excellent oral and written communication skills, and excellent 
presentation skills

&middot; Solid knowledge of marketing fundamentals

&middot; Strong technical aptitude
