JOB DESCRIPTION

Position:       Security System Administrator
Location:       Austin, Texas, US
Type:           Permanent F/T
Closing Date:   11/27/2004

As Sr. Network Engineer, this individual will be responsible for hands-on 
design, implementation, and maintenance of the network and server 
infrastructure across the corporate environment and service operations.  This 
includes security architecture and keeping the operations environment up to 
date with vulnerabilities/patches.  This person will be tasked with building 
and maintaining a state-of the art, high performance network/server 
infrastructure.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Job Requirements:

&middot;        5+ yrs overall network/server administration experience, 
ideally within a operations/service bureau environment
&middot;        Performing system administration on Windows and UNIX (Solaris, 
FreeBSD, etc) desktops and servers  familiarity with all major Windows platforms
&middot;        Designing and implementing high availability server and network 
architectures
&middot;        Experience with Firewalls, Switches, VPNs, IDS systems
&middot;        Strong analytical and problem analysis skills
&middot;        After-hours on-call support responsibility is required
&middot;        Team player, flexible, open to change, and open to other's 
opinions

Additional Pluses:

&middot;        Management and proactive monitoring of WANs and ISP services
&middot;        Previous experience in a Operations/Service Bureau environment
&middot;        Managing relationships with multiple equipment vendors
