Position: Application Security Engineer

I have the following permanent opportunity available:
Description: The Senior Data Security Analyst in the Corporate IS Technology
Support Services organization, supports all activities associated with the
design and deployment of secure hardware and software systems to protect the
integrity, confidentiality, availability, and assure accountability on THE
COMPANY’S critical business systems. The Senior Data Security Analyst is
responsible for lead support of system security solutions, including the
overall planning, development, testing, implementation, and support of these
systems. The Senior Data Security Analyst also supports all laboratory and
pilot evaluations of security technologies.
Qualification: Minimum of 4-6 years of hands-on-security project experience.
Experience on multiple platforms, operating systems, software, communications,
and network system protocols. BS in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering
with a MS degree or equivalent technical field experience. CISSP certification,
or other information security credentials, desired. Excellent verbal and
written communication skills. Knowledgeable and experienced in the design,
development, and deployment of secure systems and networks. Ability to assemble
project requirements and lead security design implementations from inception to
completion. Ability to research state-of-the-art security technology and
provide recommendations that will be reliable, scaleable, and reusable. Ability
to identify and completely resolve technical issues. Solid knowledge and skills
with two or more security technologies including firewalls, virtual private
networks, remote access, anti-virus, anti-spam, content m
anagement, web access management, user authentication and authorization,
encryption, operating system hardening, vulnerability assessment, public and
private key cryptography, web server security, directory services, and secure
databases. Must be able to apply security technologies, which meet corporate
architectural standards. Provide technical assistance to Data Security Manager,
Architects, Analysts, and our customers.
The salary range is 90-95K plus three weeks vacation
