Position: Quality Assurance
Location: Boston, Massachusetts, US
Type: Permanent F/T

This role, a Senior Technical Support Engineer with an official title of
'Technical Marketing Engineer', will be responsible for conducting technical
competitive research and anslysis. The position reports to the Product
Management Group. Will work in a lab environment, installing, configuring, and
testing the latest network security equipment, as well as conducting peformance
analysis for my clients Intrusion Detection System. Will work alongside
developers to characterize and improve new products.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Network and Application Protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, FTP). Network Security
Appliances (Firewall, VPN, IDS, IPS) and Network Security Protocols
(anthentication, encryption, and compression). Installation, configuration amd
support of Microsoft Windows Operations System Platforms, Linux, and Solaris
Operating System a plus.
3-5 years Network Security and System Administration/Lab experience with degree
or 5-7 years without degree. 10-15% travel. B.S./M.S. degree in CS, CE, or EE
preferred.
