Position: Security Researcher
Location: Santa Clara, California, US
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 11/20/2004
McAfee is looking for two qualified researchers to grow its
intrusion detection technologies team in Santa clara California.
Key responsibilities for the new positions include vulnerability
research/analysis, and malicious code analysis. Additional
activities include protocol parsing, attack signature creation,
and development of advanced algorithms/methods for next generation
threat countermeasures. All these take place in a casual team-work
environment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
The candidate should have at least a BS in Computer Science/Engineering
related field or equivalent experience Solid knowledge of operating system,
hands-on experience with networking protocols, and good programming
skills are required. It is highly preferable that the candidate has
good experience with vulnerability analysis and good exposure to intrusion
detection and prevention solutions.
