Position: Manager, Information Security
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 10/29/2004
• Ensure that an effective Information Security Program is in place
within the EMEA region.
• Provide consistent interpretation of Information Security Policy and
Standards
• Promote awareness and understanding of Information Security & Privacy
Policy, Rules, Programs and Guidelines to all levels of the business (e.g.
managers, technical, business and support staff, consultants and vendors, etc.)
• Manage Information Security Risks through coordinating and performing
Security Risk Assessments and the Information Security Risk Acceptance Process
• Ensure appropriate Information Security requirements and activities are
covered in all development initiatives
• Participate in Information Security & Privacy initiatives
• Coordinate the security testing of new and modified internet products &
services
• Maintain knowledge of current Information Security topics as they
relate to The Bank environment
• Ensure that Information Security solutions are consistent with both
Information Security Policy, Standards, Guidance and architectural directions
• Report all Information Security incidents/breaches to IS&P, Security
Incident Response Team (SIRT)
• Assist in the provision of guidance in resolving audit findings and
ensuring closure
• Assist the regional lead ISO in the development of corrective action
plans for the business as a result of, risk assessments and security testing
• Prepare and submit monthly status, activity reports and scorecards for
IS&P local and global management
• Other information security and privacy tasks as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Degree level Education
Minimum of 3 years Education
• TCP/IP, NT OS, Unix OS’ • Experience of Firewalls, IDS,
Web Security Services, Project Management
• Knowledge of BS7799/ISO17799
