Position: Security Engineer
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 11/14/2004
Great opportunity for a senior security engineer/architect! Help my client, a
privately held company in the greater Boston area, architect, design and
develop security features for its software products. In this position, you can
expect to be the in-house security expert who will be relied upon to review
security features and provide guidance to development teams concerning security
requirements. You will work with project managers, UI, QA and development to
ensure security requirements are met. Additionally, you will provide a
valuable resource to customers by participating in security briefings and in
developing technical documentation relating to security.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of hands-on and architect level
experience designing and implementing security features into commercial
products. A strong understanding of C++, COM and ATL is required. You should
bring a depth of knowledge throughout the security field and have a strong
understanding of PKI, SSL, X.509, access control frameworks and authentication
protocols. In-depth experience with crypto algorithms and schemes is highly
desired. Windows development experience is preferred, however Unix development
experience will be valuable as well.
