Position: Security Engineer
Type: Permanent F/T

Job Title: Digital Vaccine Verification Engineer
Do you enjoy evading, analyzing and breaking security systems? TippingPoint
Technologies is currently looking for engineers to beat-up, break into and
generally mess up our cutting-edge, state of the art security system. As a
member of this group, you will develop tools and methods to analyze the
effectiveness and performance of ultra high-speed, next generation security
products and develop ways to improve them. The opportunity to lead and manage
this team will also be considered.
Job Responsibilities
- Analysis of system behavior to improve security, performance and robustness
- Scripting to develop tools needed to test and analyze systems
- Simulation and testing of new features.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

- A deep understanding of Internet protocols or experience with network
security products (firewalls, intrusion detection systems, scanners)
- A passion for working hard to solve challenging problems
- A commitment to quality work
- A willingness to be continuously challenged in a dynamic environment
working with a team of world-class professionals
- Experience in Unix or Windows system administration a plus
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
