Position: Sr. Security Engineer
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 10/27/2004
Become part of a brand new leading edge product development team for Intel's
next generation IA-32 based CPUs, Chipsets and Platforms. The Platform Security
Validation team's mission is to ensure that these products with security
features protect against defined threat models and meet industry security
expectations.
The qualified candidate will drive the security validation of Intel products in
a visible role. Work entails in depth research of the hardware and system
architecture, identification of possible vulnerabilities (flaws) and
development of methods to exploit these vulnerabilities. Candidate will be
responsible for working closely with architects, designers and validators both
in the identification and resolution of issues.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Required Skills -
1. 6-8+ years experience in major PC component development or validation.
2. Strong knowledge of IA-32 PC system architecture and C language programming
experience.
3. Demonstrated track record of driving creative solutions to ambiguous
business requirements and technical challenges.
Nice to have skills but not required -
1. Knowledge of PC security threats and security technologies.
2. Component design methodology, including circuit design and timing analysis.
Degree Requirements -
1. Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
2. Bachelors +6-8 years experience or Master's Degree + 4-6 years experience.
