Position: Security System Administrator
Type: Contract

LAN-WAN-TELECOM-SECURITY ADMINISTRATOR POSITION
A National Beverage Company based out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida is looking
for a LAN-WAN-TELECOM-SECURITY ADMINISTRATOR. (NO RELOCATIONS)
The annual salary will be in the $50-60K range.
Responsibilities:
· Work with IT management in the development and maintenance of
network and telecom security in the areas of routers, switches, firewalls, VPN
concentrators, file servers, web server, IP phone system, digital phone system,
databases, and desktops.
· Work with the current IT administrators in implementing and
monitoring security of company data access, E-Mail virus prevention, data
integrity, spam prevention, filtering, and remote security access.
· Monitor and report to IT management abuse of company IT
security policies.
· Review daily log activity of routers, switches, firewalls, VPN
devices, spam server, web server, file server, IP / digital phone systems, and
databases.
· The results of the log activities will be part of your report
to IT management.
· Provide network and telecom administration support to current
administrators in the areas of E-mail, desktop, application, database, web
server, file server, administration and client account creation as well as
helpdesk support.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required skill set:
· 3+ years experience with Microsoft Windows, administration,
design, implementation and deployment
· MCSE Certification and proven hands on experience w/ multiple
server and client installations with knowledge in active directory.
· Linux RedHat certification and proven hands on experience.
· 3+ years experience with Linux Redhat in a Microsoft domain
environment.
· 3+ years experience with Apache web server.
· 3+ years experience with MS back office products including SQL,
IIS, etc.
· 2 + years experience with Firewall installation, setup and
configuration.
· 5 + years experience in the deployment and maintenance of
client server environments.
· Strong knowledge of intrusion detection systems (IDS)
· Strong Mitel IP phone switch 3300 series knowledge.
· Strong Lucent Definity and Magix phone system knowledge.
· Installation, configuration and disaster recovery planning and
troubleshooting.
· Symantec, CA or McAfee antivirus and security software
application experience is critical.
· Installation setup and configuration of multiple local and
remote deployments.
· Strong skills in Internetworking with LANs, WANs, Internet,
VPN, and VLANS.
· Hands on experience in configuration, troubleshooting, and
support of routers, switches, servers, desktops and other related LAN/WAN
hardware.
· Strong on hands knowledge of TCP/IP routing, troubleshooting,
and design.
· Strong knowledge of authentication / authorization security
technologies
· Ability to work independently as well with other team members.
· Strong problems solving skills.
· Ability to clearly document and present arguments for the
implementation of initiatives.
· Flexible to travel frequently for more than one week at a time.
· Flexible to work long days and weekends on projects.
· 4 year bachelors degree in technology or related field.

· Adtran Routers,
· Cisco Pix Firewall,
· Linux Based Firewalls,
· Mitel IP phone switches 3300 series,

· Dell Servers,
· Compaq Servers
