Position: VP of Regional Sales
Type: Permanent F/T

Sunfire Studios is a recruiting firm located out of Austin, Texas that
specializes in the placement of Sales Engineers, Pre-sales Executives and
Professional Services Consultants with a strong focus in Operating Systems,
Networks and Security.
Sunfire is currently engaged in a targeted search for a "Sr. Sales
Engineer", an “Internal Sales Engineer”, "Director,
Pre-sales Technical Support" and a “National Director, Pre-sales
Technical Support” for third-generation software client in the Northern
California area. Candidates should be current residents of the Northern
California area, SF/Bay Area preferred.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
3+ years in the enterprise software space in a Pre-Sales Management
(Director-level) Position
Management of a Pre-Sales Engineering Team (approximately 7 to 10 people)
Other/Technical
Some technical skills helpful (CISSP, CNE, MCSE or equivalent certifications)
Experience in network security pre-sales management preferred
Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, Unix, NT), and networking infrastructure
Storage Area Network Systems (SANS) experience preferred
Strong customer-orientation and presentation skills, experience in managing the
RFP/RFI process
