SR.SECURITY ENGINEER
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Security Engineer is a key member of the Systems Security team that
is responsible for the protection of the corporation's information assets from
theft or damage. To provide these services this position will deploy, manage
and support perimeter security systems that "touch" the customer.
Such systems include firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and data security
systems running on mainframe and distributed platforms. This position requires
acting as first responder to system security incidents and provides first and
second level support for system security technologies. Represent and champion
the security function on projects and ensure adherence to security policies,
standards and baseline controls.
This position will focus on the Microsoft environment and will set strategic
direction, performs architectural design and integration for complex,
cross-functional systems. Assists with tool selection and strategic direction
of tools, systems and software packages. The applicant should have a strong
background in windows systems administration. The applicant should be able to
give examples of design work for a large AD deployment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum 5 Years working experience as a Microsoft Security Engineer, with
Microsoft MSCA, MSCE or equivalent certifications preferred.
- CISSP certification desired
- BS Degree in Computer Science or similar discipline preferred.
- Good working knowledge and experience of administration and security for
Microsoft Active Directory, Windows 2000, Windows Server 2000, Windows Server
2003, IIS, SQL Server.
- Working knowledge and experience in security compliance issues and
requirements related to governmental regulations.
- The candidate must be able to troubleshoot complex networks and be familiar
with E-commerce environments. Prior E-commerce experience is a plus.
-The candidate must have a customer-oriented focus, the highest level of
integrity, good planning and organizational skills, as well as oral, written
and inter-personal communication skills.
