Position: Developer
Type: Permanent F/T

Internet Security Systems is seeking a Software Engineer to join our
development team. We're looking for developers with very strong C/C++
programming background on Windows and Unix platforms along with an in depth
knowledge of network protocols and programming. Must be able to read RFC
documents and learn new network protocols from these documents. Must be able
to work on projects with extremely short development cycles and hard deadlines.
In addition, will be responsible for building and packaging the updates for
the intrusion detection products.
Must be able to develop methods and write code to detect network-based attacks
and protocol anomalies. In addition, he must be knowledgeable about building
and packaging issues and be able to handle issues that arise during this
process.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Solid programming skills on Windows and Unix platforms
• Strong C/C++ programming background on Windows and Unix platforms
• Extensive Networking knowledge with NT and Unix
• Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP and it’s various uses (routing, DNS,
network infrastructure)
• In-depth network security knowledge
• Experience in networking and communication
• Experience in computer / information security
• Experience in Unix and Windows system administration
• Background in Windows system programming, including COM and
multi-threaded or multi-process systems a plus.
