The Role:
Our Senior Security Engineer/Consultant is responsible for providing both pre
and post sales consulting and engineering services. Individual will be
responsible for evaluating client's IT infrastructure, providing solutions, and
performing presentations to client staff. Specifically you are responsible for
performing the most technical aspects of security audits, assessments and
remediation projects. Projects will require skills including client profiling,
vulnerability assessments/verifications, penetration testing, certification and
accreditation and related report generation. Our Senior Security/Engineer
Consultant also supports a direct sales team in helping to identify and
qualified infosec. opportunities to include the creation of statements of work
and other proposal documents. This position requires a strong understanding of
technology, enterprise security, professional consulting services and risk
management.
Requirements:
Bachelors or equivalent work experience and a minimum of 5 years prior
professional services (engineering/consulting) experience. The ability to
work independently as well as on multiple projects simultaneously. Role
requires strong verbal and written communication skills. The successful
candidate must be available for day travel to client sites in the Eastern
Massachusetts, Southern New Hampshire and Rhode Island areas.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Experience with the following technologies are required: UNIX/LINUX, Microsoft
(NT4, 2000, 2003), Windows Active Directory, TCP/IP, Firewalls (Checkpoint,
Pix,, IDS (Snort, Dragon, ISS). Experience in network vulnerability scanning
(Nessus, ISS) and enterprise networking.
Experience with regulatory requirements such as Sarbanes Oxley, HIPAA, GLB,
security standards including ISO17799 are a plus.
We highly prefer individuals with either a CISSP or CISA, certifications.
