Position: Sales Engineer
Type: Permanent F/T

Sunfire Studios is a recruiting firm located out of Austin, Texas that
specializes in the placement of Sales Engineers and Professional Services
Consultants in the Security software space.
Sunfire is currently engaged in a targeted search for a "Sr. Sales
Engineer" and a "Professional Services (Post Sales) Consultant"
for third-generation Security software company to cover the central territory
and located in the greater Chicago area.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
3+ years in the security software space in a pre- or post-sales support role.
CISSP, CNE, MCSE or equivalent certifications helpful.
Strong background in network security software and intrusion
detection/vulnerability management.
Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, Unix, NT).
Willing to travel 50% of time.
Strong customer-orientation and presentation skills.
Background responding to RFPs and RFIs a plus.
