Position: Management
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 10/14/2004
Position is a Technical Account Manager (TAM).
TAM manages projects to implement Enterprise Access Security systems for
companies with 5,000-10,000 employees. This job involves:
* Understanding each customer's business problem
* Creating and designing a solution to solve the problem
* Guiding the deployment within the customer’s environment
* Setting expectations appropriately with customers and delivering successes
* Being able to scope and propose projects for customers
* Determine and document project plans and proposals
* Understand and document customer requirements
* Design and document workflows and processes to support those requirements
* Work closely with Technical Consultants to deliver solutions
* Manage projects using standard project management methodology
* Help the customer transition to the new production system – change
management
* Properly transfer customers to Technical Support Team
* Ensure and track customer satisfaction – ensure customers become
referenceable
JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Solid understanding of Security (such as SSO, Identity and Access Management
Solutions, Role-based access control, Strong Authentication, PKI, smart cards,
physical access systems, LDAP and directories, encryption)
* Experience with deployment push technologies
* Ability to document and maintain project plans, document requirements
* Ability to up-sell to existing customers design, development and pricing of
customer application solutions, delivery of customer presentations, discovery
and definition of customer requirements
* High-energy, intrinsic motivation, great teaming skills, competitive success
and a passion for customer service
* Must have strong communication skills
* Experience of implementation and delivering a software solution throughout
the entire life cycle
* Experience working with offshore development teams
* Understanding of project management process and methodologies
* 4 years professional services/consulting experience
* 7 years project management experience
CISSP and PMI certification a plus
