Position: Security Consultant
Type: Permanent F/T

THIS POSITION IS BASED IN ATLANTA, GEORGIA
Internet Security Systems, Inc. (ISS) is looking for qualified candidates to
fill open positions within its Professional Security Services (PSS)
organization. ISS is seeking experienced consultants with experience in the
field of penetration testing. These positions are senior-level and candidates
without extensive experience in the field need not apply.
Penetration Testing Consultant
The Penetration Testing Consultant (PTC) is considered a Senor Security
Consultant with highly specialized skills. The PTC demands in-depth knowledge
of internetworked systems, operating systems and protocols. The PTC must have
an extensive engineering, software development and computer security background.
The PTC must have extremely strong written and verbal skills and be able to
communicate effectively on technical and business issues with clients. The most
stringent screening is required for the PTC position.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Experience
• Education: BSCS, BSEE or equivalent degree required
• Industry Experience: 4+ years plus a degree
• ISS Product experience: 1+ year and/or ISS product certification
• Extensive experience in the field of penetration testing
• Extensive experience in computer engineering, software engineering
• Extensive experience in computer security related fields, including one
or more of the following: security implementation, network security operations,
security policy design, security technology administration
