Position: Director, Computer Security
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 10/15/2004
My client is seeking a Security Director to oversee their security
organization. You will be responsible for pulling together various security
related activities. Success factors for this role include customer
satisfaction and the extent to which their products align with customer needs
for network security prevention.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Understand the mechanisms and causes of security vulnerabilities, use of 3rd
party research services, and development of their own internal monitoring
approaches. You will develop guidelines for improvement in their security
products and build an effective database of security information to be
communicated throughout the company. Must have protocols
(IP,TCP,FTP,HTTP,DNA,SMTP) and authentication, encryption as well as security
applicances (IDS, Firewall, VPN, etc.) 5 plus years experiene in security
market sector and a B.S. degree in computer science or related discipline.
Management experience necessary. Local candidates only.
