Position: Sr. Product Manager
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 10/13/2004
This roll will call for the candidate to oversee the entire product management
team, which is responsible for 5 key areas of responsibilities. They are needs
and opportunities for new products, creation and delivery of new products and
features, product launch, in-market product management, and other and ongoing
(identifying cross-product line opportunities, continuous refinement of product
strategy, identifying and establishing strategic partnerships, etc).
You will also be responsible for globally planning and managing full product
life cycles, define and develop product extensions,define and develop product
extensions, manage teams and resources to ensure the timely definition,
release, and ongoing enhancement of assigned products, and, quite importantly,
look at the market from a strategic standpoint and apply your experience and
creativity to develop new product ideas and then oversee their being brought to
life.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
BS/CS degree or other relevant technical education (or equivalent experience)
as well as an MBA, 10+ years of product and team management in the SECURITY
BASED SOFTWARE INDUSTRY, experience with network, desktop, and/or Internet
related security products and protocols.
