GLOBAL PRACTICE MANAGER (VP): Identity & Access Management (IAM)
This is my client’s most visible position (Vice President title) for this
multi-billion dollar software vendor in their Global Security Practice focusing
on their IAM products & solutions.
Working out of Corporate Headquarters or a major business/travel hub in the US,
this Vice President will be responsible for providing IAM industry expertise
for the entire worldwide security practice. Working with senior executives to
initiate, drive & deliver initiatives & solutions specifically for strategy and
architectural consulting for security, identity management, and directory
services (IAM). This includes:
-Working with brand unit leaders to develop and design brand solutions.
-Identify opportunities to integrate/partner with other brands to develop
solutions.
-Define, create and execute area level growth plans based upon security
initiatives.
-Ensure that practice booking for the assigned areas are attained.
-Determine core service offerings for designated brand.
-Determine staffing levels required for each area/region in Pre-Sales &
Delivery to support brand.
-Specify and manage overall attachment and penetration rates for brand.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Excellent knowledge of IAM space, including competitive vendor solutions (in
particular automated user provisioning, automated password mgmt, directory
services, Single Sign On (SSO).
Must be very driven and able to execute your vision in a fast-paced, dynamic
corporate environment. Ability to exhibit strong leadership qualities and
drive the understanding & deliverability of your security solutions worldwide
throughout a multi-tiered, multi-regional organization.
Preference given to Practice Managers or Senior Management with similar
experience from within:
-Big 5 Consulting Firms
-Boutique consulting firms with strong Security Practices
-Security Software/Hardware Vendors
10 years IT industry experience with 1 to 2+ years experience planning,
installing, configuring and implementing distributed, server-based computing
environments.
Demonstrated ability to analyze IT business requirements and define/design
appropriate IT solution.
Previous experience managing a profit and loss statement is required.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills are required.
Strong oral presentation skills for communicating solutions to CxO level
clients.
Ability to travel nationally & internationally to provide leadership to senior
regional security practice managers.
