Position: Account Manager
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 10/01/2004
Sr. Business Development Manager (Redwood Shores, CA.)
Responsibilities:
· Identify, qualify, recruit and engage partners and field that
complement Oracle server technology stack for specific verticals and solutions,
and could increase revenues and position for Oracle in the marketplace
· Ability to work with senior executives to get commitment for
oracle tech stack
· Plan, create and execute strategies for partnerships with
meaningful and profitable business outcomes by working with field units and
prospects
· Promote entry points for channel sales/direct sales/channel
marketing engagement with partners
· Technical enablement of partners through partner adoption and
support of Oracle technologies
· Awareness of Oracle’s strategic aims in the short, medium
and long term
· Develop business opportunities with qualified Independent
Software Vendors (ISV’s).
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:
· BS with 10+ years experience in infrastructure and packaged
commercial application software market, including a clear understanding of the
business and enterprise software technology requirements
· Technical background (MSEE) with experience in Security,
Federal strongly preferred
· Strong interpersonal, communications and writing skills
required along with ability to handle multiple projects
· Demonstrable track record of relevant achievement working
within the enterprise software industry
· Strong background in marketing or selling to individuals within
large, complex customer organizations.
· Excellent presentation skills required
· Prior business development experience desirable
