Position: Sales Engineer
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 10/01/2004
Leading developer and marketer of computer security and privacy software is
seeking a Sales Engineer in Chicago, IL
Public company with phenomenal results. Went from approximately $500K in
revenue back in 2001 to almost $6M in revenue last year. So far in 2004 they
are blowing those numbers away and are looking for the best of the best to
contribute to their continued success.
Responsibilities include supporting the sales team from a technical standpoint
to develop and position solutions to address the client's point(s) of pain.
Will act in the capacity of being a Trusted Advisor for clients. Will also be
responsible for successfully responding to RFPs,RFIs, and RFQs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
* Solid security technical skills
* Understanding of the sales process
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to successfully respond to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
* Previous SE experience (preferably 3-5 years)with a security software company
* Proven track record of assisting sales team
* Excellent presentation skills
* SANS, CISSP or other related certifications a plus.
* Ability to travel
* US Citizen or Permanent resident ONLY
